i think that liquid eyeliners are pretty for night but i think pencils way less harsh and its more natural. The best i've ever used is makeup forever aqua eyes it stays on ALL day its amazing its waterproof and it doesn't come of even on my water line its easy to get of with makeup remover its well worth the price you could get it at makeupforever.com or sephora.com : ) !
MAC Powerpoint eye pencil, its waterproof and lasts even if you apply to the inner rim of your eye. Sometimes its a little stubborn to try and remove. I don't know why their website says it metallic because its not, I've been using it for years.
