How do you put eyeliner on the bottom and top?

How do you do that?!

Its like impossible for me.

%26gt;_%26lt;How do you put eyeliner on the bottom and top?
I put eyeliner on my lower lashine, my upper lashline (eyelid), my waterline, then I close my eyes so the makeup can transfer to my UPPER waterline (tightlining), which gives it a nice full, thick eyelash effect.

It really takes time, and practice, there is no wrong or right way to do it. Some people use brushes, some thick to just a pencil.

I'd go on Youtube and look for tutorials.

But the FOUNDATION to putting on eyeliner this way is using a good brand/type of eyeliner. If you use something like a cheap NYC eyeliner, you won't get the pigmentation of a black eyeliner, and it won't show up after several swipes.

You should use something like Rimmerl's Kohl eyeliner. I can't stress enough how great this eyeliner is. It is SO smooth and makes your eyeliner application easy. Or, if you don't like a pencil touching your eye, you could use a cream/gel eyeliner and apply it with a brush. Angled, ';pencil'; (MAC 219 brush), or a long, fine point brush. I find using an angled eyeliner brush better.

Good luck! How do you put eyeliner on the bottom and top?
For the top- look up and press your eye lashes against the lid with your finger and draw on the skin just inside the lashes, then close your eye and gently pull the corner of your eye with your index finger so that your lash line is semi straight and draw side to side.

For the bottom- look up just like before and trace side to side on the skin just inside the eyelashes.

look at the mirror and see how it works and fix any mistakes.

just practice, you'll get better at it. Its scary the first time or two but it gets easier.
first do the top.

then the bottom.

when you are doing the top, use the hand you write with to line your eye. use the index finger from the other hand to pull you eye lid to the side till it is almost closed. when you are lining the eye start lining on top of the eyelashes and see if that is enough. if it isn't, make the line just a little bit wider.

you can also line the inside of the eye on the top as everybody does on the bottom.

line the bottom, inside.. and then when you are lining the outside, use your index finger again to pull and use the eyeliner as if you were lining your eyelashes
It depends on the shape of your eyes sort of.. like if u have really hooded eyes it may be more difficult for u to do. I use liquid eyeliner, but for someone who has a difficult time with it use the crayon stick kind. i always have one eye open %26amp; hold the other one closed %26amp; then raise your eyebrows as much as possble so when u put it on your not putting the eyeliner in a crease on your eyelid %26amp; just do it as close to your eyelids as possible %26amp; when your doing the bottom just dont poke yourself in the eye :) %26amp; make sure u dont do it thick or else u just look overdone. goodluck! hope this helped!
well, for the top you can like pull your eye lid over to the side so it's pretty much straight. that way you don't have clumps when you put it on. for the bottom, pull your eye down and put it on the little line that's by the eye. it looks the best and it comes out the neatest.

But remember if you have light colored hair it might be best to only apply it to the top of your eye lid

don't try to draw on a single bold line... it will look garish and cheap.

instead, get as close as you can to the lashes, and gently apply it sort of like a dashed-line, little segments at a time. obviously, connect the dashes... just don't worry about doing so all in one swoop.

then use a q-tip (or some eyeliners have a squishy eraser-type thing on their end) to blend the line into your lashes to make it look a little softer.
get a crayon kind for the bottom (wet and wild works for me) and a liquid kind for the top. when u do the bottom lid, make sure it's almost in ur eye, so it doesn't look smudgy. and when u do the top, try to keep ur eye open. it makes it less thick (not as raccoon-like.)
you hold your eye and draw?!
youtube it, they've got vids that'll teach you how x
