I bought some for $6 and it said it was waterproof but it isn't. Any suggestions? Is there any waterproof eyeliner that's actually waterproof?
I wear powerpoint eyeliner pencil from MAC - it really stays. I was in a rush the other day and put eye shadow on, and the liner in green - after eight hours of rushing around, then to the gym, the eyeliner was still there, but the shadow had faded, or been wiped away while I was sweating. Finally took off the eyeliner later that night. Is there any waterproof eyeliner that's actually waterproof?
Urban Decay 24/7 liners are the best I have seen-long-lasting, waterproof, and they glide on amazingly.
I use N.Y.C. [ New York color] waterproof eyeliner pencil and it stays on really well. Sometimes I accidentally rub my eyes and it doesn't even come off. I think that this is great eyeliner!
try Maybelline waterproof (Liquid) eyeliner
no..because in order for it to come OFF your eyes and NOT be premanent, it has to have some water in it, therefore nothing is TRULY water proof. (even waterproof mascara.)
liquid liner go to sephora they have great stuff

How do i apply liquid eyeliner?
Im sick of eyeliner pencil rubbing out about an hour after ive applied it, now im wanting to buy liquid eyeliner, but where do i put it on my bottom lash, with pencil i normally put above my lashes roots not on them, but if i try this with liquid it makes my eyes sting, so any tips? I dont really like the look on the bottom if you can see a space between the eye and the eyliner. How do i apply liquid eyeliner?
It's quite hard to explain, so i'll give you some links to try and answer your question (^_^)

xHow do i apply liquid eyeliner?
DO NOT TRY TO PUT LIQUID EYELINER ON YOUR WATERLINE! Your waterline is the part of your bottom lashline that is slippery and wet. If you put liquid eyeliner on your waterline not only will it not stick but it may get in your eyes and cause severe pain! It is not worth the risk! If you want to put liquid eyeliner on the top, go for it! Apply it right above the lash line. Now for the bottom, I would try CoverGirl Waterproof Eyeliner Pencil (not liquid) and apply it to the water line. This should stay better and give you the look of having no space between your liner and your eye because thats what you said you liked.
heey :P
i got the perfect answer
because this is exactly what happened to me before !!
anyways
just get liwuid eyeliner and just like line underneath your lower lashes
any shape anyway
can be as messy as you want
becuzzzzz we are
now gunna get a wipe (face wip/baby wipes) anyy
and then you rub off the excess eyeliner you put on
this will leave you with a beuitiful perfect straight line unerneath you lashes !! *(:
so this everyday (:
i only use liquid eyeliner on the top
cuz i kinda have long lashes and it's hard for me to put it on the bottom
i think gel eyeliner is much better and easier if u wanted to put it on the bottom
try black eyeshadow with a really thin brush instead
apply liquid eyeliner in feather strokes otherwise you'll hve a gap in between
This is how I felt when I first stared wearing eyeliner. I started with pencil because my mom said it would be good practice and I wanted liquid because I liked how dramatic it looked and how you could actually see it and it would stay on all day.
So to put it on you take the brush and lightly glide it over the top of your eye. I'm sure you know how to do this already because of the pencil. Be careful not to accidentally get it into your eye though. It can sting but it wont do any real damage to your eye..if it does get in you should flush your eye or what I sometimes like to do so that I don't have to start over is take a q-tip, wet it, and then lift down the bottom of my eye and let it leak out onto the q-tip. Anyway for the bottom you don't put it on the waterline. That will hurt badly and never ever work out. You put it under your bottom lashes. Your should make the top and bottom meet in the corner of your eye though so it looks consistent.
And you really can't see a space if you do it right...just do it as close as possible without actually getting any liner into your eye. A lot of people actually don't like to do the bottom and for awhile I didn't either. But now I don't like it without the bottom done. Remember to be as creative as you want with it and don't let anyone put you down. That's one of the main things I LOVE about liquid liner. You get to be as creative as you want with it which makes it fun. Good luck. ;D
EDIT: (also to answer one of the other answers statement you can get waterproof eyeliner which makes it not run. It stays on all day and that means you CAN put it in the corner of your eye. Just make sure you give it time to dry and it's always good to use primer before wearing any liner to make it last the longest it possibly can. So don't be afraid to put it on the bottom because it will run. Just get waterproof. It also esp helps if you have oily skin or p.e-sweat.-)
Liquid eyeliner is mainly used on the top lashline. It's hard to put it close to your eye, and if you put it too close it just makes your eyes water and the eyeliner blur.
If you want to wear it on the bottom lid, bear in mind that it looks very severe and you can't make it stay put on the inside of your eye as liquid eyeliner only stays for longer than pencil eyeliner if it stays dry, otherwise it will run. My advice is to use a tiny thin line on your bottom lashline, not a solid line, and use a cotton bud or q tip to soften it so it doesn't look harsh. Then use your pencil eyeliner to do inbetween your lashes and eye, and later when it smudges, there will still be a trace of black to soften the liquid eyeliner.
Most people don't use liquid eyeliner on the bottom unless going for a dramatic night time look, so I recommend doing just your top eyelid and seeing what you think. If you still want to do the bottom, then to keep it looking fairly natural don't draw a line, but do little dashes just barely above your lower lashes. Otherwise, you can use powder eyeshadow for around your lashes, it lasts long as it is dry and can be smudged. Use a very thin brush and barely wet the tip of the brush.
When trying something new with makeup, don't just try it for the first time before you head out the door- play around, experiment in the evening or when you have lots of time. That way you can wash it off if you don't like it, and you get good practice.debt consolidation

Is it bad to put eyeliner on the inside rim of your eyelid?
I heard somewhere that it can make you go blind... is this true?Is it bad to put eyeliner on the inside rim of your eyelid?
only if you stick the whole eyeliner pencil in the pupil of your eye, you'd have to REALLY screw up to do that. it's fine, i put it on the inside rim of my eyelid every day and i'm clumsy and i never went blind hah :) x
I've never heard of any diseases, but don't share with a sick person because you'll catch their cold.Is it bad to put eyeliner on the inside rim of your eyelid?
no it does not make you go blind im sure of it
i use it every single day and i havnt gone blind..
but is u use it regurlarly then ur rims might stay a little for a while and make it look as if u have eyeliner even if you dont.
i dont think it does... i never leave my house without putting eyeliner on the inside rim, and i wear it every day... ive never heard that it can make you go blind, or that it could give u an infection... hope this helps

How can i get my eyeliner to not run and to stay on all night?
any tips?
or certain products? How can i get my eyeliner to not run and to stay on all night?
Try 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil by Urban Decay if you're having problems with runny eyeliner.
It doesn't smudge AT ALL, not even when you accidentally rub your eyes.
Plus, there's tons of fun, colorful shades (:
http://www.sephora.com/browse/product.jh鈥?/a>How can i get my eyeliner to not run and to stay on all night?
simple. Your eyeliner is not being applied correctly and sounds like some really cheap junk you've picked up by false budgeting. Anyone who needs to sleep in their eyeliner is defiantly buying cheep cheep. However, if you mix it with super glue it will most certainly stay on for months, cheap or otherwise.
The only product that I find actually stays on, doesn't smudge and looks awesome...Lancome Le Stylo eyeliner.
It's a waterproof gel/pencil. Goes on like a pencil but looks like liquid liner, super easy to apply. It is on the pricier side ($22) but it seriously lasts a loooooong time. I can put it on in the morning, go to work and to the gym and work up a sweat, and it still looks good at 10pm.
I've tried A LOT of eyeliners over the years, but this one is by far the most amazing eyeliner. I get compliments all the time on my eyes.
Revlon colorstay eyeliner stays on and DOESNT COME OFF (Guarantee atlest 12 hours). Plus, it comes in a lot of different colors. Cheaper than Max Factor and a LOT cheaper than the cosmetic counter. If you dont like it, buy it at Target because they will take it back even if you opened (w/ receipt of credit/debit card you bought it with).
in my personal opinion pencil is great and the way to make it stick without running is to apply a translucent powder and then apply the eyeliner and try not to touch your eyes through the night. the more you fuss with it the more likely to run. if you have very teary eyes-the powder helps to ubsorb that. :-)
Use an eye primer, then apply waterproof liquid eyeliner- may I suggest Wet N' Wild waterproof liquid liner in black, it is very water and smudgeproof. I actually have a hard time washing it off. After you apply the liner apply an eye shadow powder of the same shade over it to really set it.
put on a primer before you do your eye makeup. i.e. urban decay primer potion, a creme eyeshadow or cream stick, or concealer can be used as a primer as well. for extra coverage you can lightly go over the liner with a black shadow to set the liner.
also you just may have a bad product.
i use maybelline liquid waterproof eyeliner. I LOVEEEE THIS PRODUCT. it really stays put and is easy when you want to wash it off
Advocate: why the hatred towards this question. BTW if u r a man, why r u in the makeup section. Are u a crossdresser or are u gay (nothing wrong in being gay btw). How do u know she is buying cheap crap?
As for the real question: U sould make sure u put a primer, then concealer and then powder to set it. and then apply eyeliner.
Lol i do this all the time.
Put a thin layer of eyeshaddow on your eye lid then Liquid eyeliner on the spray a bit or hairspray on your eyes ( whilst they are shut OBVS)
%26amp; wait for it to dry.
Put concealer on your eyelid, then apply some loose powder over the lid, apply eyeliner, trace the eyeliner you have just drawn with the same colour eyeshadow.
Buy L'Oreals HIP cream eyeliner! It's smudge-proof, waterproof and lasts all day/night. I never have to do any eyeliner touchups. Try it =)
use primer on your lid before apply eyeliner.
and use the long staying eyeliner.
or use liquid eyeliner. it stays on the best. try revlon colorstay it works really good and cheap too
Try the Mac eye liner. I used to have that very same problem. I would apply liner and after an hour or so it would all over the place! The Mac eye liner stays put! I love it!!!
If it's a pencil your using, set it with a black matte eye shadow lightly and this will help set your eyeliner. :)
use liquid eyeliner and put a layer of skin colored eyeshadow on your eyelids before the eyeliner
YOU SUCK eye liner is ANIMAL it is BUNNY how COULD U LOSER!!

How can I make my eyeliner Stay put?
I hate when I put eyeliner on [lower inside rims] and it just smeres underneath my eyes by the end of the day. it makes me looks angry and have hufe dark circles under my eyes. How can I make my eyeliner Stay put?
Ok first of all make sure you're using waterproof eyeliner cuz anything not waterproof is just gonna rub off. And 2nd of all, eyeliner is one of those things you may need to pay more for. The only inexpensive eyeliner i found to be decent is waterproof Prestige. Other than that, Paula Dorf transformer makes an amazing long lasting eyeliner. It basically transforms your eyeshadow into eyeliner and its so great. You can get it at pauladorf.com.How can I make my eyeliner Stay put?
try using a pencil instead .....if you get it done at a solan it never smears!!!
Okay, first of all don't use liquid. Use pencil, cream, or powder and dont apply on rim! Do it right below/along your lash line. Make sure you apply on top too.
well don't put it exactly on the rims of your eye lids, because the moisture in your eyes is what makes it rub off and get all over your skin!! and maybe also try a water proof one so it won't smear at all!
when putting on your eye make-up, don't put it on the lower rims of your eye, one its not healthy for you eyes, and too you will look like a racoon at the end of the day..so apply it right under your lashes, or on your lashes..it looks better too..and don't apply it so thickly because that looks tacky!!!
and always apply eyeliner before and maybe after eyeshadow!
i always put eyeshadow underneath my eyes as well so i apply the liner, and then my eye shadow and if my shadow completely cover up my eyeliner i re-apply just a little bit more of eyeliner..if you do shadow first and then eyeliner your eyeliner will fade in a few hours!!
hope this helps!! =)
stop crying!
pencil, dont put too much
Get a thin brush and the same color powder just dab a little on then you get a washcloth (pre-mascara application) slightly damp and gently press on your eyeliner. This pretty much cements the eyeliner in. It isnt going anywhere all day.

There are many causes of dark circles, from age, heredity, allergies, cold or sinus infection, bone structure and glasses which are not so commonly known.
http://www.mydarkcirclesblog.com/2006/11鈥?/a>
If you would like to apply home remedies to reduce dark circles, here are some of my suggestions:
Buy a box of regular, old fashioned unflavored gelatin (e.g. Knox) from grocery store. Take a small cup or bowl and put in 1 teaspoon of the gelatin mix. Add one tablespoon of boiling water %26amp; stir for a minute. Test it on your wrist to make sure it is not too hot. Then, using a cotton ball, pat it under your eyes as you would an eye cream or gel. Go lie down and listen to some music, or take a bath %26amp; let it stay on for at least 30 minutes. Then just rinse it off.Gelatin is very high in Vitamin K %26amp; Biotin. It will not remove your dark circles on the first application (but you will notice a difference), but if you do it daily for a week, and then 2-3 times a week for maintenance, you should notice a drastic reduction in dark circles.

OK well everyone else has told u to use pencil and well i used to use pencil and had that same problem with me having gym class n everything SO then i thought i would try liquid and mine hasn't smudged since one time i forgot to wash off my make up and it still looked perfect the next day and if i were u i wouldn't go by anything real expensive either i don't i use one that cost like $8 at your local drugstore plus
one more thing make sure you get the kind that is waterproof and when u go to put it on after you apply it then hold your bottom lid down for just a few seconds to kinda give it a little help drying before it touches your eyeball
hope this helps you or if not u figure something out

OK well everyone else has told u to use pencil and well i used to use pencil and had that same problem with me having gym class n everything SO then i thought i would try liquid and mine hasn't smudged since one time i forgot to wash off my make up and it still looked perfect the next day and if i were u i wouldn't go by anything real expensive either i don't i use one that cost like $8 at your local drugstore plus
one more thing make sure you get the kind that is waterproof and when u go to put it on after you apply it then hold your bottom lid down for just a few seconds to kinda give it a little help drying before it touches your eyeball
hope this helps you or if not u figure something out
How do I get my eyeliner to stay on?
I dont wear makeup but eyeliner and lipgloss, but whenever I put my eyeline ron. It always falls down and it ends up looking like I was crying or got punched in the face and got black eye lol.
I use pencil eyeliner, do u think i shoudl switch to liquid??? thanks. How do I get my eyeliner to stay on?
I know exactly how you feel! This still happens to me but I have figured out that it depends on where you put it and the type you are using. I hate Clinique eyeliners because they would smear everywhere in about 3 hours. This is what I do:
Line my upper and lower lashline with either a black or brown pencil.
Smudge it with either a smudger or an eyeliner brush.
Then I wet the eyeliner brush (or smudger) with water and dip it in either a black or brown eyeshadow and go over it.
It usually lasts all day as long as you are wearing a waterproof pencil.
Hope this helps and good luck! How do I get my eyeliner to stay on?
I have a solution for you. First, it would be suggested to wear mascara to even out the eye makeup. No, you should not switch to liquid, for it is harder to apply. You don't need that in relation to the fact that you're already having eyeliner troubles with pencil. There is the retractable eyeliner, and I use it. It works wonderfully, and it doesn't smear unless you rub your eyes or cry. Plus, eyeliner sometimes smears depending on the layout of your eye. Like how the eye wrinkles in some areas when you open it. So, say if you put it on the bottom, under the eyelashes, it will sometimes smear, but I suggest putting it on the edgeline of your eye, to make it resistant to the wrinkles. But it may be a bit unhealthy if the eyeliner actually gets inside of your eye.
You could switch to liquid but I find it more difficult to apply and gives a weird look. Try getting an eyeliner by Clinque. I used to have the same problem and I found out it was because I was using a lower quality eyeliner.
Liquid eyeliner works really well
if you want it to stay on longer and not smear.
So if your having a problem with the pencil i would def. suggest it.
Revlon Colorstay is a good liquid eyeliner i think it's like 5-8$
hope this helps.
i have a great solution!
try using shade sticks/eye crayon (L'Oreal)!
it works so well, and it wont budge(i have it on now and luv it!)

*it's $7.49 @ cvs!!!
fyi: it doesn't go on thick unless u want it that way, lol.
;]
i used to have the same problem
definately switch to liquid, its amazing. and i cant live without it.
it stays on like forever 2!!! (until yu take it off obviously...)
LIQUID EYE LINER: a life saver.
i think you need to get powder eyeliner..http://www.qvc.com/qic/qvcapp.aspx/view.鈥?/a> it never fails me!
Liquid and waterproof, and not the cheap kind. I like the ones they have at Victoria's secret, they're really good.
Put on a powder or primer first, and make sure you are using a waterproof pencil.
stick with pencil, liquid will make it worse...i've tried liquid and it ended up making a mess all over my eyes

How do you get your eyeliner to be a darker color?
i keep buying different company eyeliners and they alll don't come out to be darker. how can i make the eyeliner to be come darker? How do you get your eyeliner to be a darker color?
get som jet black eye liner and put A LOT on an it'll look lik its darkerHow do you get your eyeliner to be a darker color?
You might just want to buy some black liquid liner.
If you are trying to get black try Rimmel jet black, it's smooth and black for lik 2 bucks. Or you can try putting your eyeliner pencil into a flame for a quick second and blow on it and then put it on your eye. I used to do this in high school when I had to buy cheap eyeliner, it makes it smooth and appear darker, it is also easier to put on
use a liquid eyeliner, they are really dark, or dull out the tip of your pencil [eyeliner]
You can try breaking of the tip of the eyeliner then applying it. I do this all the time and it always goes on dark and stays like that.
Liquid eyeliner is great, but if you're not comfortable applying it look for black, dark brown and navy powder eyeliners. Also black or dark brown eyebrow color powder. Apply pencil liner first then layer the powder right over it with a narrow brush to darken.
Hope it helps!
Okay, I think you should get some oil for skn and beauty, then smudge it in your eyeliner. it makes it softer so its easier to apply, darker colors.

I think you can have as many as you want =] I so would if I could afford it.
It'd be cool if someone had a ton of bright shades from like, Hot Topic, and made a rainbow around their eye =D
Lolz, random thought xD. Anyway, yeah, as many shades as you want.
At least a brown and a black but I like to use white to highlight in the corners and underneath my eyes and sometimes I will use a violet or blue just for fun to match an outfit. The possibilities are endless!
Nobody should be limited to how many colors of makeup they can have!
I think as many as you want, for whatever mood your in... i use black and grey alot, but i have TONS, like 10 or 11 diffrent colors
there is no number.
buy as many different colours as you want.

theres this awesome stuff at origins called underwear for lids and u put it on under ur eye makeup and it makes it stay in place all day. ive been using it for years!!
here i looked up a link for u http://www.origins.com/templates/product鈥?/a>
Try liquid eyeliner or waterproof eyeliner. You could put pressed powder on your lids and then line your eyes. Try Googling or researching ';bridal makeup tips'; because they have tips on making makeup last longer.
You could use MAC eyeliner. Or you could use liquid eyeliner (Loreal Paris has good ones). Or you could just put water proof mascara on the bottom instead of eyeliner. HTH
Definitely give L'oreal HiP Cream Liners or MAC Fluidlines a try! Both don't smudge or smear and will last the whole day! :)
but the mac eyeliner. i seems to work fine on me other then when i go to the gym. NO LIQUID PLEASE not classy at all.

How do i put on eyeliner, and make it look somewhat natural?
i've tried putting on eyeliner before, and it looked like i hadn't slept for like a week. anyone have tips on how to put on eyeliner? thanks. How do i put on eyeliner, and make it look somewhat natural?
same thing happen to me too, i would recommend a brown eye liner pencil not liquid eyeliner. then add a eyeshadow on your eye lid and the colour should be similar to the eye pencil colour. then , used a brush or cotton stick to blend the colours, not all of it, just the edge of your eyes. hope this makes you look natural...How do i put on eyeliner, and make it look somewhat natural?
what i like to do is to put it on very very lightly right on ur eye(u no the wet part that just touches ur eye,,,,,, the part ware ur suppost to put on eyeliner)
then as i am putting it on the the corners of my eye i make it darker and darker. then once i reach the corner of my eye i make it really think and black. but once its on u cant really see how much u put on, its just makes ur eye look mysterious and long
try it out and see how great it is!
Don't put it all under the eye then your probably gettng the smudging coming off and then the raccoon eyes for work day time wear at the office you can get away with a soft subtle look you don't need anything to bold or agressive..
start with the outer bottom eye and only draw lightly to mid way point another words your not covering all the eye underneath your starting at the bottom top right hand side and your only going in half way. leaving the rest open.
use a lighter color other than brown. and make sure that you dont put it on so thick. it'll highlight your eyes but also keep it looking naural.
Use a lighter shade (black never looks natural). Personally, I use walnut-brown. You can vary according to your complexion. Liquid liner lacks subtlety, so avoid that if you're trying for a natural look. I use a mechanical pencil, and I make sure the tip is SUPER sharp. I lightly draw my lines as closely to the edge of the lid as possible.
apply in on your inner upper lining of your eyes. it should help
Hi, I actually read this really good article about it, you'll find more useful information there I'm sure, I did
http://www.carefair.com/Makeup/Eyes-and-鈥?/a>
well its eyeliner, its not soposed to be natural, if you want something less.... dramatic... try using the eyeshadow you normally use, wetting some of it down and dabbing that on the lid very close to the lash line.... it really sounds like you are smudging the liner too... if you want to keep using liner, steer clear of black, dark brown or navys, use light gray, tans or white...
OK good..this is what I do.No one can tell I have eye color on.
I use eye pencil not eye liner.
Next In the formof tiny broken lines , put this over the lash line so that itblends withthe lashes.

Is it bad to wear eyeliner everyday? AND boys do you like girls who wear makeup?
I'm in grade 10..And I just put a lil eyeliner on everyday on the bottom of my eye. Not the top.
If I put it on everyday...is it bad??
And I wear foundation.
That's all the makeup I wear. Do boys like girls who wear makeup or no?Is it bad to wear eyeliner everyday? AND boys do you like girls who wear makeup?
';guys like girls who wear natrual makeup...pretty and simple';
I kinda agree with that.. But what i would add, is that each to their own.. If you want a guy that's attracted to a girl that wears make up, then wear it..
If a girl wears tons of make up, then she will attract the type of guy that likes that. Equally, if she doesn't, then she will attract that type of guy...
I personally don't like a girl with a lot of make up, i don't fancy waking up with a different face in the morning.. Especially when i haven't been drinking the night before..
To be honest, i prefer a girl who smiles a lot, has fun, and wouldn't give a crap about what amount of make up she had on..
I know it may sound cheesy but it's true for a lot of my friends too.. Even the goths or emo's smile every now and then, and THAT'S what's attractive..Is it bad to wear eyeliner everyday? AND boys do you like girls who wear makeup?
as long as it isnt too heavy. and make sure you dont line it on the inner membrane, but the line where your lashes start. if its too heavy it looks gross.
also, guys dont like girls who wear too much makeup.

How do I apply it? Just on the top? A lot? A little? How do I wear white eyeliner?
Do not use a white eyeliner, it looks kind of tacky. Try using a light shade of brown, or even brown eyeliner, they work just as fine. How do I wear white eyeliner?
wel lthey say white eye liner on top makes ur eyes look bigger and if u wear white then I guess wear it or silver glitter looks even better try it see what u like
Line your top lid with white eyeliner. Line the outer half of the bottom with brown eyeliner, and the inner half also with white. It will make your eyes look huge.
i love white but not on eyes. SORRY!
put a line on the bottom lid just above ur lashes u know next to ur eyeball, that will make ur eye appear bigger.
Put it in the inner conners of your eye or use a black eyeliner to line a thin line on the top lid, and the white eyeliner to line a thin line too on the bottom lid. Blend well or it would look to harsh.
don't use that. use a light brown or light blues(eye shadows) depending on your hair color under your eyes further down then you would wear regular eyeliner. it looks really cool and you will get a lot of complements. nothing to dark or trashy. unless you have dark skin. if you are pail be care full how dark you go with it.
How do I apply it? Just on the top? A lot? A little? How do I wear white eyeliner?

How do i prevent my eyeliner from smudging? any special thing to apply?
my eyeliner keep smudging whenever i blink a little or so. i don't understand why others eyeliner look so firm and smudge-proof.How do i prevent my eyeliner from smudging? any special thing to apply?
Depends on the type of eyeliner you are using. If you're using pencil, try using liquid liner, or dip liners. Probably those that are waterproof. It worked for me. I hated those smudges, until i used dipliners. Not that much into waterproofs cause they're kind'a hard to remove after. But, for 101% smudge proof liner, it has to be waterproof. How do i prevent my eyeliner from smudging? any special thing to apply?
Waterproof eyeliner helps hold the color in place. There are also specific brands of makeup that make smudge-proof makeup. And if you are using liquid liner, make sure that the liner is completely dried before you touch it. Also, if you wear a lot of eyeliner, the liner that didn't completely soak in can just sit around your eye, making it smudge.
try liquid liner.

Where do I put my eyeliner instead of my waterline?
I've heard that putting eyeliner on my water is bad for my eye, so I've never done that, and will never. But everytime I put it UNDER the waterline, I look like a ghost! Any tips on how i can look good without putting it on my waterline?Where do I put my eyeliner instead of my waterline?
when your not putting it on the waterline, make sure you dont put much on, and make sure you only apply it lightly ALONG the lashline.
I do it but i only apply it lightly in the middle of the bottom lashline and then even lighter to make it kind of fade so it doesnt go to the corners of your eyes, thats a big no no. I also use white eyeliner softly in the corners of my eyes, and on the waterline, makes your eyes lok bigger, but not necessary :)Where do I put my eyeliner instead of my waterline?
I don't know who you've heard this from. As long as you use kohl hypo allergenic eyeliner and don't share it with ANYBODY, you will be fine. I suggest Revlon eyeliner products.
Really, though, it all depends what type of eye you have. How about using a pointed pencil stenciled directly above and into your lash line? Maybe a little bit of smudging? On your own free time, try using eyeliner in different ways until you find something that you enjoy. Experiment with different shades and colors and ask your friends for a second opinion.
Whatever you do, don't put eyeliner under the waterline (unless it's at the outer corner). This just looks harsh and makes everyone look tired, old and sometimes dirty. And, like you said, ghostly.
i do that too! i looks so stupid when i put eyeliner under my waterline.
i find that if its on my waterline, it smudges a bit also.
sorry im of no assistance, just thought i would let you know you're not the only one that looks like a ghost.
just where your eye lashes are, just on the eye lid if you understand. Make sure you have a steady hand though!!,

It takes practice! Depending on what type of eyeliner you're using, you could always try blending in the area that you missed with a q-tip. try cream eyeliner. You apply it with a brush, and I find it is a much easier application.

What is the Difference between an eye brow pencil and eyeliner? (Besides the obvious)?
I know that one is for eye brow and one is for eye lid but is that the only difference? What is the Difference between an eye brow pencil and eyeliner? (Besides the obvious)?
The brow makeup is harder, while eyeliner is softer and easier to apply smoothly. Don't use the eyebrow pencil on your lids, it'll be hard to put on and stretch out the delicate eye skin. What is the Difference between an eye brow pencil and eyeliner? (Besides the obvious)?
well ive found dat an eye brow pencil tends 2 have a dufferent type or lead.. it tends 2 be dryer and crumble more than an eye liner wich tends 2 go on smother becuz people usauly line their inner rims and they have 2 glide in order 2 not make their eyes irritated
Eye brow pencils have a higher wax content to keep your brows ';in place'; a bit. That makes them harder than eyeliners.debt consolidation

What is a liquid eyeliner that I can get from wal-mart that will give me a bold look? (felt tip please)?
I want it really easy to apply, I want it black and I might get an aqua. I am a beginner with liquid eyeliner. What is a liquid eyeliner that I can get from wal-mart that will give me a bold look? (felt tip please)?
I just bought the Revlon ColorStay liquid eyeliner and I love it. It has a felt tip as well. :)What is a liquid eyeliner that I can get from wal-mart that will give me a bold look? (felt tip please)?
umm. jordana incolor liquid eyeliner is good. not sure its sold at walmart but i know its sold at walgreens :) o and its felt tip so yeah. umm and i have black not sure about aqua but they probably have it bc it comes pencil in that color. :)
You can just use any creme foundation or liquid and then use a secret camouflage brush or eyeshadow brush or sponge to apply.
All I'm saying is liquid liner is really messy if you don't know what your doing so get one that comes off easily and if this is your first to eyeliner get a pencil or cream one first
i love wet n' wild liquid eyeliner. it dries quick, never cracks or smudges and doesn't burn your eyes if you accidentally get it in there.
Almay's liquid eyeliner. It doesn't smudge
try l'oreal paris it looks like a pen (walmart)
you could try a 'sharpie' and they come in many colors. hehe

What is the best eyeliner to use that wont come off and goop in the corner eyes?
I have had a lot expierence with eyeliners. The brand that I like best is Jordana. They have many colors. They also have something from Jordana called a retractable eyeliner. All you do is twist the bottom of it and they eyeliner comes up. Then there is no need to sharpen the eyeliners. It also works really well and I have heard in Magazines and on t.v., that jordana stays on very long. All you need to do is go to Wallgreens and look around or ask the sales person.
Shoppr :DWhat is the best eyeliner to use that wont come off and goop in the corner eyes?
I love Lancome's Waterprood EyelinerWhat is the best eyeliner to use that wont come off and goop in the corner eyes?
I would suggest L'Oreal Paris Lineur Felt Tip %26amp; the Volume Shocking mascara goes great with it; sometimes also sold together for the price of one at Target.
Bobbi Brown gel eyeliner or Smashbox Cream Eyeliner.
The best one I've found is Revlon Color Stay.
Bare Escentuals has a liner sealer called Weather Everything. It makes their mineral eyeshadows and liners absolutely waterproof. It won't come off until you use remover.
Any quality liner will do. Still having trouble keeping it put? Apply eye shadow over it, or dust it with loose powder.
I like Almay and believe it or not, Wet N wild never smudged on me.
I Like Mary kay eyeliner, it stays on all day and never clumps.
liquid liner
I get a really thin flat brush and use black eye shadow or whatever color I feel like. I wet the tip a little and I put it in the shadow. It works awesome and wont rub/clump off. Plus it saves me $ on eye pencils. If you want an eye liner, just get wet'n'wild. I know we all used it when we were like, 7yrs old but it only costs a dollar and it really does work well.
If you go to www.makeupalley.com, you can read reviews of eyeliners. I always go there if I am wondering how to find the best product or to find out if I want to buy a certain product. Very helpful and addicting!
u can go with maybelline or revlon is also gud....
MAC, MAC and MAC
maybelline or rimmel
MAC Fluidline. It's actually a gel rather than a pencil liner.
It stays put, and there are some really beautiful colors!
I like Revlon Colorstay eyeliner the best or any smudgeproof long- lasting one.

Can you recommend an eyeliner and mascara that will stay put all day?
I use Revlon Colorstay Liquid Eyeliner - it's stays the best of all that I've tried. I like a thin black line on my top lashline. The liner stays nice all day, but somehow, some color ends up under my eyes at the end of the day. I think it's coming off my lashes (from when I apply it). I hardly wear mascara because it always runs. Any ideas? Thanks. Can you recommend an eyeliner and mascara that will stay put all day?
Kick it up a notch, buy a couple better quality products sister.
Dior Show mascara: I don't even have words as t how perfect this mascara is.
MAC Fluidline for your eyeliner. Yes it's liquid but it's a gel, almost turns powdery-ish when you put it on. Doesn't budge til you take it off. I use both of these every day, swear by them. Can you recommend an eyeliner and mascara that will stay put all day?
Cover Girl's Perfect Point Plus is a wonderful eye liner. Waterproof, but not smudge proof. As for the mascara, go for the waterproof version of a classic: Great Lash by Maybelline has a waterproof formula. Good luck, and happy make-up shopping!
mac makeup awesome!
Merle Norman Cream Eyeliner. It's in a little pot and you put it on with a brush. It won't smudge all day long.
Anything thats water proof. So like Mac or something.
Mac's makeup, Revlon's makeup, and Maybellines makeup is all very good and recommended by tons of makeup artist, including my mom.
But i personally like Maybeliines mascara and eyeliner the best, its cheap but the makeup never clumps or mess up, also go with the waterproof ones just in case you get wet by rain or something.
The mascara is probably running cuz you're perspiration and sweat is coming and ruining your makeup so try not to sweat a lot.
Go too a mac counter and ask them ! Mac is great makeup ! It is very loyal too your face !
i used to use the revlon waterproof eyeliner until eyeryone kept telling my to ge the MAC eyeliner. they have all sorts of colors and it stays on all day long! i am not kidding! they have over 10 colors to choose from and i use the poweroint eye pencil. as for the mascara i use bobbi brown no smudge mascara. it is fabulous! it curls ur lashes, volumizes them, and is clump free! i absolutely love both of these products and never leave home without them!

How to correctly apply eyeliner to top and bottom lid?
i dont want it to be super heavy black eyeliner but enough for my eyes to be more noticeable?
make sense? How to correctly apply eyeliner to top and bottom lid?
well heres for liquid eye liner, i couldnt find one that used pencil
i hope this helps a little bit
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lwYLSyvKW鈥?/a>How to correctly apply eyeliner to top and bottom lid?
Apply the eyeliner as close to your lashes as possible. Go slowly, bit by bit, so you won't mess up.
With the top lid it is sometimes easier to put a finger on the outside corner of your eye and stretch the eyelid gently to give you a flatter surface on which to apply the liner.
Bottom lids are way easier. If you don't want your eyeliner to look too dramatic, try only lining the bottom lids half-way.
Liquid eyeliner is easiest to start with because it goes on most evenly. Then you can try out pencils.debt consolidation

What does plum eyeliner look good with?
I have very light skin and green blue eyes. I have read other answers and they say purple or plum eyeliner would look good with my eyes...but im worried that the plum wont look good if clothes dont match...so if you wear plum eyeliner, does it look and can you wear it with other color clothes? What does plum eyeliner look good with?
try using a plum eyeliner that has a little more brown to it than blue. This way the color will definately make your eyes pop, but will be more neutral and soft. You shouldn't really be concerned with matching your makeup to your clothes...it's about the whole picture of you looking beautiful, not the individual parts.
Another thing to try if you're still uncomfortable with the thought of a plummy eyeliner is a bronze liner. Bronze colors have a bit of red or orange in them, and red is on the opposite side of the color wheel as green. So that way, purples, pinks, plums, oranges, and bronzes (anything that has red in it) will make your eyes stand out.
I hope this has helped! What does plum eyeliner look good with?
not plum, light lavender or light pink, or maybe like golden yellow or greenish blue.

How do you put eyeliner on the bottom and top?
How do you do that?!
Its like impossible for me.
%26gt;_%26lt;How do you put eyeliner on the bottom and top?
I put eyeliner on my lower lashine, my upper lashline (eyelid), my waterline, then I close my eyes so the makeup can transfer to my UPPER waterline (tightlining), which gives it a nice full, thick eyelash effect.
It really takes time, and practice, there is no wrong or right way to do it. Some people use brushes, some thick to just a pencil.
I'd go on Youtube and look for tutorials.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cIC2zL11z鈥?/a>
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sdp_UAvA1鈥?/a>
But the FOUNDATION to putting on eyeliner this way is using a good brand/type of eyeliner. If you use something like a cheap NYC eyeliner, you won't get the pigmentation of a black eyeliner, and it won't show up after several swipes.
You should use something like Rimmerl's Kohl eyeliner. I can't stress enough how great this eyeliner is. It is SO smooth and makes your eyeliner application easy. Or, if you don't like a pencil touching your eye, you could use a cream/gel eyeliner and apply it with a brush. Angled, ';pencil'; (MAC 219 brush), or a long, fine point brush. I find using an angled eyeliner brush better.
Good luck! How do you put eyeliner on the bottom and top?
For the top- look up and press your eye lashes against the lid with your finger and draw on the skin just inside the lashes, then close your eye and gently pull the corner of your eye with your index finger so that your lash line is semi straight and draw side to side.
For the bottom- look up just like before and trace side to side on the skin just inside the eyelashes.
look at the mirror and see how it works and fix any mistakes.
just practice, you'll get better at it. Its scary the first time or two but it gets easier.
first do the top.
then the bottom.
when you are doing the top, use the hand you write with to line your eye. use the index finger from the other hand to pull you eye lid to the side till it is almost closed. when you are lining the eye start lining on top of the eyelashes and see if that is enough. if it isn't, make the line just a little bit wider.
you can also line the inside of the eye on the top as everybody does on the bottom.
line the bottom, inside.. and then when you are lining the outside, use your index finger again to pull and use the eyeliner as if you were lining your eyelashes
It depends on the shape of your eyes sort of.. like if u have really hooded eyes it may be more difficult for u to do. I use liquid eyeliner, but for someone who has a difficult time with it use the crayon stick kind. i always have one eye open %26amp; hold the other one closed %26amp; then raise your eyebrows as much as possble so when u put it on your not putting the eyeliner in a crease on your eyelid %26amp; just do it as close to your eyelids as possible %26amp; when your doing the bottom just dont poke yourself in the eye :) %26amp; make sure u dont do it thick or else u just look overdone. goodluck! hope this helped!
well, for the top you can like pull your eye lid over to the side so it's pretty much straight. that way you don't have clumps when you put it on. for the bottom, pull your eye down and put it on the little line that's by the eye. it looks the best and it comes out the neatest.
But remember if you have light colored hair it might be best to only apply it to the top of your eye lid

don't try to draw on a single bold line... it will look garish and cheap.
instead, get as close as you can to the lashes, and gently apply it sort of like a dashed-line, little segments at a time. obviously, connect the dashes... just don't worry about doing so all in one swoop.
then use a q-tip (or some eyeliners have a squishy eraser-type thing on their end) to blend the line into your lashes to make it look a little softer.
get a crayon kind for the bottom (wet and wild works for me) and a liquid kind for the top. when u do the bottom lid, make sure it's almost in ur eye, so it doesn't look smudgy. and when u do the top, try to keep ur eye open. it makes it less thick (not as raccoon-like.)
you hold your eye and draw?!
youtube it, they've got vids that'll teach you how x

Is it bad that I dont wash off my eyeliner before bed?
I usually put on my eyeliner every sunday night and leave it on until the next friday or saturday. Ive been doing this for almost a year and a half now and nothing bad has happened except for the occasional stye, but thats a small price to pay for having to re-do my eyeliner every morning since the way I do it is different and very articulate and hard so its REALLY time consuming. However I do wash my face every night so dont get too weirded out..
I just wanna know if this will cause early wrinkles. I really hope not.Is it bad that I dont wash off my eyeliner before bed?
OMG! Stop doing this NOW! That is so bad, seriously. You are going to get wrinkles so much earlier than those who take care of their face. I cannot stress how important it is to take your makeup off and cleanse your face every night before bed.
If you're that lazy think about getting your makeup permanently applied. Is it bad that I dont wash off my eyeliner before bed?
I am a Mary Kay Consultant! I honestly never wash my makeup off. I have trouble even selling makeup remover and cleanser just for the fact that I do not use it, so I have trouble trying to get others to use it. I feel tired at night, so I just lay down and fall right asleep. I never see anything on my pillows or where is has rubbed off. The next morning, I take a shower, never technically washing my face or putting any soap on it or anything. After the shower, I reapply all fresh makeup on. I never see anything bad happen, sorry to let everyone know. And I have done this for at least 5 years. If I wake up, take a shower, and then some old mascara or eyeliner is smirred a little bit or around my eyes, I just take a Q-tip, wet the end of it, and then go around it until it is back to normal, then I apply fresh coat on top. If I get wrinkles and my eyes get permanently damaged, I will let you all know, but until then, I will continue following the same routine of dirty makeup face, sleeping, and then reapplying a fresh coat of makeup!
this will not cause any wrinkles but may be harmful for ur eyes
and this may show in ur later years
hahah thats funny
i do tat all the time i dont think its bad
Any type of make up will make your skin wrinkle sooner, it will also make your eyelashes fall, and it will make your eyes itchy after some time, I am telling you from my own experience, I have stopped doing this after a few years of not removing my make up in the evening ( my make up would go by itself though, I didn't have anything that lasted that long).
It is very indicated to remove it every evening before going to bed.
i would say its bad. what about the germs that get into the eyeliner??? (possibly what is causing the styes) you should wash off ALL makeup every day for the healthiest skin.
wow
what eyeliner brand is that?
doesn't come off for a whole week .. thats amazing
but having makeup on overnight is not good for skin
It won't hurt anything. I am curious about your technique of application though.
It will make your eyelashes fall, especially your lower eyelashes (and there isn't many of them to begin with!!)...
And how in the world does your eyeliner stay on for that long? Hmmmm ...
I recommend NOT doing it.
You have got to let the skin around you eyes breathe. I would remove it every couple of days at least. And remember to moisturize. Be careful with eye make-up. My friend didn't always wash her eye make-up. And now she has black permanent floaties in the white areas of her eyes. Drives her crazy.
I've never heard of it causing wrinkles...
You should take some makeup cleaner though and wipe it off. Doesn't it go all over your pillow or anything?
It could possibly cause your eyelash hair folicles to get infected or clog or something. It couldn't be good for your skin though.
make ur eyelashes fall out over time because eyeliner and mascara are made from tar
and tar dries things out
NO
It is so very very important to wash ALL of your makeup off b4 u go to bed! And yes it can cause wrinkles!
First of all, let me know what kind of eyeliner this is that you can apply once a week and it stays on for the rest of the week. Seriously, let me know.
It doesn't matter to wrinkles but the key thing is Mascara sticks to your eyes. Time by time, it is hard to wash off
na i never remember to wash my face befor bed cause it will just wake me up, but nothing would nappen or we would have hear about it already, right?
well im still looking fine
That's what I do my eye liner never comes off and it's only like5.99 stuff from the supermarket!

Where could I find a tutorial for putting pencil eyeliner?
Hopefully pictures and text only.Where could I find a tutorial for putting pencil eyeliner?
I always use a pencil liner because it is much easier to put on and take off than liquid.
To be quite honest I use the 99 cent one Wet n' Wild from CVS in jet black.
Put it on the edge of your eyelid where your lashes meet your skin, and do a smooth line across. If the tip is kind of dry add just a dab of baby oil or lotion. And then you can adjust the thickness of it with a q-tip.Where could I find a tutorial for putting pencil eyeliner?
You know, you really don't need a video or pictures. Buy a good quality pencil (like Clinique or Estee Lauder) and practice. I find it easiest to draw in very short strokes with my eyes open. You can also close your eyes, hold the outer corner of the eye, and draw a line close the the lashes. Good luck!
If you can draw a straight line and are not accident prone or clumsy.
You're pretty much good to go as long as you don't poke yourself in the eye!
Google search it.
Uhm, I know you can watch videos on youtube.com, but I don't know if they just have an eyeliner one.
maybe avon.com maybe idk

Can you sharpen eyeliner with a normal pencil shapener?
Can you do it with a normal electric sharpener?
or scissors? or a knife or something else?
because i lost my eyeliner sharpener. Can you sharpen eyeliner with a normal pencil shapener?
not an electric pencil sharpener but a manual 1 yes and i think scissors and a knife will work 2 just dont hurt urself lolCan you sharpen eyeliner with a normal pencil shapener?
I wouldnt use an electric one, but I would use a regular handheld one, it works fine. I've used it before, its the same as a eyeliner sharpener. I think the electric one would kinda ruin it. I dunno, you can try it!
You can try a knife too, like in the olden days.
You can, but i wouldn't recommend it. If you sharpen it where you sharpen regular pencils you risk getting wood shavings in your eye, and the eyeliner could ruin the regular pencil sharpener.
NO dont use electric sharpener u dont want lead infection in your eye it's possible to happen.... use a manual sharpener or knife and if dull use lighter to melt a little and use a clean finger to shape it with a point hope this helps
you can use a nife but be careful just do slow movements downwards until you like the sharpness
i dont think you can use scissors
you can use an electric sharpener but just put it in for only like 2 seconds
I do.
Don't use a knife or scissors though.
I wouldnt do it with an electric sharpener cuz then that will probley ruin the whole eyeliner I think you can do it with a normal sharpener thats NOT electric.
electric? I wouldn't. But try it. Just do it real quick.
scissors? no. Knife? no
freezing helps them not to break and allows you to get a sharper point.
You can use a hand held sharpener. I dont think you should try an electric sharpener though, because it might run out too fast. DONT try scissors or knives, that'll just ruin the eyeliner.
Course you can use an normal sharpener
it didn't do any damage to my eye liner anyway :)
x
I do it with a electric sharpener or any kind of sharpener all the time it works perfectly.
Yes use a regular pencil sharpener
Yeah sure why not. I sharpen my eye liner with a pencil sharpener all the time and i did it with a knife a couple times when i was desperate. Never had an eye infection or anything so meh...
yes you can but it would be better to get another one.
it might get messed up (cracked, crumbly, etc.) but yah, you can.
regular pencil sharpener that you can get at ANY Staples/Office Depot or even Wally World in the school supply dept.
A pencil sharpener my older sister always does
i use my electric sharpener but be careful not to push it in all the way becasue the tip will break
no, i did it once and it splintered all the wood. I couldnt use it cos it was really sore.
yes thats what i do and still work perfectly fine
yeah
i wouldn'tdebt consolidation

What's the best eyeliner that lasts all day?
The eyeliner I use now wears off in a short amount of time and I have to re-apply it several times a day. What is the longest lasting eyeliner you've ever used?
Thanks:)What's the best eyeliner that lasts all day?

Waterproof eyeliners.
pencil:
urban decay 24/7
gel/cream:
mac fluidline
liquid:
kiss me
i think that liquid eyeliners are pretty for night but i think pencils way less harsh and its more natural. The best i've ever used is makeup forever aqua eyes it stays on ALL day its amazing its waterproof and it doesn't come of even on my water line its easy to get of with makeup remover its well worth the price you could get it at makeupforever.com or sephora.com : ) !
MAC Powerpoint eye pencil, its waterproof and lasts even if you apply to the inner rim of your eye. Sometimes its a little stubborn to try and remove. I don't know why their website says it metallic because its not, I've been using it for years.

How can I use eyeliner without looking emo?
im asian and so whenever i put on eyeliner i look super emo or goth. How can I use eyeliner without looking emo?
dont use black. use brown. i do. it looks more natural. and just a small thin line. dont pile it on. they key to make-up is to look like your not wearing any. haha weird i know but serious. you should only put on enough to accent your natural beautyHow can I use eyeliner without looking emo?
Just put some on the top or bottom part of your eye. Check out Adam Lambert to see what not to do. Just kidding, but he seems to master the eyeliner thing maybe YouTube him showing the weather girl how to apply eyeliner.
This sounds stupid, but look at your avatar. The eyeliner at the corner of the outer eye would look awesome! Don't put it on the top of your lid or into the inner corner unless it is very thin.
use a very think pencil and only do a thin line on either the top or bottom eyelid....id reccomend the top and mascara...and when putting on the eye liner do it on the very edge and then it'll just look pretty
same here. if i put it on the bottom i look soo emo now i just put it on the top and dont dont dont use black, if you do apply it very lightly
Use a brown pencil or powder liner and sweep it lightly along the top lashline. Black will look too harsh; the same with a liquid liner.
just because you wear eyeliner doesn't make you emo, btw why do you care what other ppl think??
Just put some on the bottom part. and shadow on your eye lid.
emo = black. try using other colors, you wont look emo in that way
just apply a thin line to your waterline and tightline. maybe try a dark brown liner?
only put it on your lids not the bottom part

What mascara and eyeliner should I get?
What would you reccomend? I havn't been wearing make up for a while but I am going to buy some mascara and eyeliner tomorrow but not sure what to go for. What mascara and eyeliner should I get?
I use rimmel black eyeliner and mascara from the superdrug range true, so cheap but gives lovely thick lashesWhat mascara and eyeliner should I get?
I usually use a retractable eyeliner (Boots, Virgin, Avon etc) - always soft and easy for blending - great for ';smokey'; eyes. Also - no searching for a sharpener!
My fave mascara is Coup de Theatre by Bourjois it costs about 拢10 (Boots and other chemists) but is long lasting and effective - you get beautiful long thick lashes without the spider leg effect.
Good luck
Do you have a Wilkinson's near you?? if you do you should definitely buy there mascara coz its only 拢1 but it works great the black volume waterproof is the best though!! The make is image. but it depends if you live in the UK or not,,if you live in America then this answer is useless,, if you live in England then it might be a use full answer.
A good mascara is one that is waterproof so if you tend to cry a lot, or have watery eyes then this is perfect as you wont have it all over your eyes. Loreal, Rimmel, Max factor are all good ones.
Also I feel Eye liner by Rimmel is good - Liquid eyeliner, and NYC one is good. Pencil, crayon ones are easy to apply but they break. Hope my advice was of use to you.
Well, if your looking for a pencil eye liner -
MAXFACTOR Black Kohl pencil - 拢4.99 and it's very soft and really easy to use and lasts ages really good colour, great for smudging if your looking for a smokey eye look.
If your looking for an inexpensive black liquid liner - Revlon colourstay is quite good, the colour is nice and black and doesn't budge unless you remove it properly so no panda eyes :)
You can get both at boots/superdrug.
Hope this helps.x Susan
Eyeslipsface.com is having a $1 sasle right now. Such a great deal on top quality makeup. BTW its on sale b/c of the launch of a new package design not b/c its bad. They have really great shadows too!
If you want it at a store you should get physicians formula it is very good for your skin and they have really cool stuff! You can get it at just about any drugstore.
ps niether of them test on animals so thats a plus!
body shop mascara 拢9.99
or
Any maxfactor mascara 拢9.99
and
rimmel black kohl eyeliner 拢2.99
You really need to try Rimmel... I always use it and it's one of the best that you can get, and I also think that it has more to choose from than the other brands!
Purple mascara %26amp; eyeliner definately!
Nothing says ';take me roughly from behind'; like purple mascara %26amp; eyeliner.
Oh my lord!
You must get define a lash mascara by Maybelline.
It is so great.
Does everything a mascara should.
:))
For mascara, I recommend Maybelline Great Lash and Prescriptives' ';False Eyelashes.';
For eyeliners, I recommend Revlon Colorstay, Almay and Maybelline.
Enjoy! :)
covergirl fantastic lash for mascara
and eyeliner? it dosnt really matter they're all the same.. i suggest brown.
TELESCOPIC its amazing
Every eyeliner is the same tbh but dont get a cheap one.
x
Revlon color stay eye liner ... it never smudges
and mascara depends on the brush for me but i use Maybeleine
da new gosh range is wiked the eyeliner jus glides on and theres wiked colors to choose from. im defo buyin that
i use perfect point black eye liner and mabelline black mascara
covergirl lash blast mascara. It is a big orange tube and it works great. For eyeiner either Rimmel London or maybelline
Rimmel eye liner and Rimmel Mascara are the best. I've used them for 20 years.
MAC.
~*~Definitely M.A.C. it's the best, it may be a little more but works great!~*~
depends on the shape of ur face.. nd the color of your skin.. maybe loriel ??

They have really great shadows too!

or
Any maxfactor mascara 拢9.99
and

You really need to try Rimmel... I always use it and it's one of the best that you can get, and I also think that it has more to choose from than the other brands!
Purple mascara %26amp; eyeliner definately!
Nothing says ';take me roughly from behind'; like purple mascara %26amp; eyeliner.
Oh my lord!
You must get define a lash mascara by Maybelline.
It is so great.
Does everything a mascara should.
:))
For mascara, I recommend Maybelline Great Lash and Prescriptives' ';False Eyelashes.';
For eyeliners, I recommend Revlon Colorstay, Almay and Maybelline.
Enjoy! :)

How do i put eyeliner on my top lid perfect?
It looks pretty on others, but i dont know how to do it on me. like i can do it on the bottom, please tell me how. How do i put eyeliner on my top lid perfect?
It took along time to perfect eye liner on the top so practice is very important! No matter how hard it is always have your eye open so you can follow the natural curve. If you want to go for a flick at the end very very delicately stretch the part wear the flick will go and follow the crease of your eye (you'll see what i mean when you do it.) Always have something to remove any mistakes. For the first month or two I started wearing it I'd put it on before any other make-up so if it went dramatically wrong I could wipe it off and not ruin anything. Of course this is harder if you want to wear eyeshadow as it eyeshadow would fade the line but it looked better than if I went badly wrong after I'd done all my make-up. I use liquid eyeliner as it's easier to draw with because you don't have to press down hard as you do with pencil on the top which can cause mistakes. It also lasts longer.I wouldn't advise putting it on the bottom as sometimes it leaks into your eye and hurts! Alot!
I also used to have this little trick where before I did my make-up i'd do a big thick line across the top of both eyes not worrying about how messy it was then get a make-up wipe, close my eye and wipe it off quickly. Some of the eyeliner still remained on my eye (always) in a perfect line. Of course it would need a touch up and some bits needed wiping again but it always worked.
I'd advise giving yourself longer than your normally would to get ready if your going to put eyeliner on for the first time (or first couple of times) incase you do go wrong and have to restart. Don't want you being late. :)How do i put eyeliner on my top lid perfect?
I personally would start out with a eyeliner pencil and then go over it with a liquid eyeliner. the one thing you always have to remember about putting eyeliner on top of your eyelids is that you should never tug on it too much because it'll cause early sagging and wrinkles around your eye area. You should probably use a q-tip because it'll be more gentle than your finger. So with your pencil, as close as you can to your lash line .. start in the middle and move outwards. The line doesn't have to be one perfect line. And if your hands are shaky like mine, it'll be easier if you do it in small strokes because it'll be neater. After you make your line, you can go over it with the liquid eyeliner. =]
It's much easier, and looks better, to use an angled brush and eyeshadow.
I never put eyeliner on my top lids, but it always looks like it because I apply black eyeshadow with an angled brush really close to the lash-line.
But if you really prefer to use eyeliner.. you should dot it instead of draw a solid line across your lid. Make sure you get really close to your lash-line though, or it looks tacky. Liquid eyeliner makes it easier.
well, you know what they say, ';practice makes perfect';. i've been in makeup artistry for over 39 years, and i've finally mastered the art of eyeliner. the trick is to hold the eye-lining pencil VERY still while resting on top of your eyelid where you want the eye-lining to be done. then, very quickly, without poking your eye out, move your head in a sharp left-to-right motion. this also takes practice. if you do it at the correct pace, your eye-lining should turn out flawlessly! good luck, darling!
I use MACs liquid liner %26amp; a good brush. a GOOD brush is the key! I use liquid on the top %26amp; pencil on the bottom/corner. It seems to work well.
Dip the brush in the liner, and slowly draw the line on your lash line while gently holding your eye shut. Use a smooth stroke...from the inner corner of your eye outward.
Dont line the entire bottom lash line, only the outer corner %26amp; like 60% of the way towards your nose....
Good Luck!
either get a very thin eyeliner wand or just us a make up brush on of the really thin ones and put a but of either shadow with a big of eyedrops (water works but ruins the brush) or just put your eyeliner color right on the brush
this is what the brush looks like
http://img337.imageshack.us/img337/9408/p8224875ow8.jpg
(the one furthest to the right)
There's no trick that will instantly make it amazing
Just keep practising, and until you get it right, do it as messy as you like then make it look neat with a damp q-tip
My friend suggested to me (before I got the hang of it) that I first use a dark eyeshadow as a guide to where I want the line to be, and apparently this worked well for her
Good luck!
the best ting to do is get a thin liner brush like this:
http://www.mommymakeup.com/images/D/angl鈥?/a>
then you get a liquidy black eyshadow like this:
http://www.asos.com/images/inv/M/9/234/2鈥?/a>
in the color you want. you dip the brush in the mousse shadow then make a thin line with the brush on ur eyelid. it is fool proof and soo dam easy. it makes the most perfect line like this
http://images.smarter.com/blogs/liner2.J鈥?/a>
u can get a brush like that at walMart for about $3.47
learn with pencil, then u can move onto liquid- its trickier.
all u need to do is make a line. go behind ur top lashes with the pencil and get the tip as close to the roots as possible then just draw it. use a cotton bud with makeup remover if u go wrong. its just abt practicing.
To get the best look use liquid liner with a thin tip. :)
Then to apply, put one dot along the top of your lashes on the left hand side, then one in the middle, then one at the right. Finally join them all together in a fluid line.
Sorted!
pull your eyelid a little bit to the side, and put on the eyeliner very close to the lashes (pretty much against them)
when you let go of the lid it will look thicker, so make it a thin amount, and keep adding :)
Start out with a liquid eyeliner with a very thin tip. Once you get the hang out that you can start with a pencil and thicker one. It just takes practice not many people can do it on their first time perfectly.
Just keep praticing!
you do it on the inner lid, like the one that 'touches' your eye.
kind of like this

I'm 16 and a complete make-up n00b. PLEASE HELP!How to apply pencil eyeliner on single eyelids?
Upper: Hold your eye taut (pull it to the side) and then slowly apply a thin like to upper lid as close to lash line as possible. If you want it thicker then do it thicker.
Bottom: Just take the pencil and lightly smooth it along the lash line. If you make a mistake, take your index finger and wipe that part away.
Practice makes perfect. How to apply pencil eyeliner on single eyelids?
Make sure you have a good brand eyeliner. I recommend Mary Kay products. I have a great online tutorial on my website that shows you how to apply eyeliner and shadow. Please email me for further instruction . Kay

How do you apply eyeliner to make it look natural and what color should I wear?
I have green eyes, dirty blonde hair, and light eyelashesHow do you apply eyeliner to make it look natural and what color should I wear?
first off you should by a BROWN eyeliner,
apply a THIN line to the UPPER lash line,
LIGHTLY smudge it with a cotton swab,
do NOT apply eyeliner to the bottom or
you will look like a RACOON!
hope i helped! How do you apply eyeliner to make it look natural and what color should I wear?
I just resently learned a trick that helps. Use a soft eyeline pencil and just dot on your lids between the lashes and let your mascara do the rest. It looks natural yet beautify your green eyes. Do not use black!
you should wear light brown eye liner for a natural look. Do not apply to heavily or you will look like a ****.
apply pencil liner as close to your lashes as possible, and only do the top lashes. you should wear a brownish color. brown will bring out green eyes the best.
Put it on low and use brown eyeliner...should work?
i would use a mechanical style eye pencil and i personally where glimmersticksby avon and they arent expensive... i would use a BROWN color. black would be too dramatic and unatural on your eyes esp if you have light lashes. small, even, thin strokes from the inside out is best and for the bottoms. Make sure to try to only line the out side corner of your eye ( this really opens your eyes and makes them a key feature on your face) make sure when applying it that you graduate in thickness from the starting point to the end point...
wthis should look more natural and yet still have the effect u want from with an eyeliner
I use a light brown eyeliner. Apply to the top and bottom lightly and remember to blend it in a little. If you want to make your eyes seem bigger, apply only halfway starting on the outside of your eye and go halfway in. It always works for me! Good luck!!!
brown eyeliner, use it on the top, just to the sides furthest to your ears. half way on your lids makes your eyes look really amazing. brown should work but if you think it looks too obvious then use a dull black, closer to gray.
I am a makeup artist and would recommend using a light to medium brown liner..... just on your top lid closest to your lashline..... if you like having liner on the bottom, apply just to the outer edge..... I would also try using a brown mascara since you have light lashes...that will give you the most natural look!

How do you put eyeliner on your eyelid above your lashes?
everytime i do it i mess up cause i get out of lline and i was wonder how do you keep your eyelid from pushing together when you apply eyeliner to your eyelid =)How do you put eyeliner on your eyelid above your lashes?
Ok i do it every day. i never thought about it being hard. Anywho back to you =]
you should start with a pencilk, and do it lgithly at first. useing your finger, close your eye, and put your finger on the outter corner, and stretch the lid a bit.. then gently follow your lash line as closely as possible, and go from the beginning of the lash line, to the end, where your eye ends. if you want to add more drama, thicken the line a bit, but go slow, and then, as i do, hold your eye the same way, and go over the penicl, with liquid. it makes your eyes pop.
hope i helpdHow do you put eyeliner on your eyelid above your lashes?
practice makes perfect with liquid try a smaller brush and steady strokes. same thing with the pencil but dull the pencil first don't poke ur eye
Slow small strokes and practice.
well it really depends on what kind of eyeliner you have get liquid eyeliner and not a long brush and yes lots of practice
I use eyeliner everyday,i always put eye cream on first just so it doesnt dry my eye lids out,but anyway try making little dots from the corner of your eye to the outter edge of your eye....then connect the dots..its that easy.I heard that from just about everyone. It works.
I usually don't, and I don't think it really matters anyways. Just wear mascara on the top, eyeliner on the bottom. You'll look cute and not trashy.
well i think liquid eyeliner is a thousand times easier to use up there
just hold ur eyelash down and look at it with ur other eye and make sure u get it in a straight line.just dont let your finger get in the way.

What is the best eyeliner you can buy?
I need something that doesn't smear or smudge. What is the best eyeliner you can buy?
The Dior Crayon EyeLiner! Seriously Its The Best EyeLiner I Have Ever Used! It Goes On So Smooth, Its Long Lasting, Doesn't Smudge, . But Its Kinda Pricey Like $24 ,But Soo Worth ItWhat is the best eyeliner you can buy?
i swim compeditively and i needed this too just in case my goggles leaked a little.
urban decays 24/7 crayon liner is the BEST ever. ive tryed every brand out there, and when i say every i mean EVERY, and nothing even compares to this liner. it goes on sooo smooth and its waterproof and smudge proof. it also comes in a bunch of fun colors!!!!
http://urbandecay.com/categories/247EyeP鈥?/a>
i just found this at walmart for like $5,
its by Jane, i think its gel liner, but more like a cream, it goes on really smooth, comes with a little brush, and the only way to take it off is with a makeup remover, thats how great it is, i think they have black, brown, purple, and mayb blue, but i plan on buying all colors lol
all eye liners smear or smudge
its just the way you put it on
i would recommend the eyeliner you can buy at walmart with the smudge stick and the erase tool
and you can roll it in and out, it works great
It really is a personal choice. Do you prefer liquid, or pencil?
Since every skin type is different, you'll just have to experiment to find out what works best for you.
Just be sure to replace it every six months...
i use clinique eyeliner its really good from all the eyeliner i used its with a brush on the other end it helps making it perfect http://www.clinique.com/templates/produc鈥?/a>

Does to much eyeliner give a slutty kinda vibe?
No offense to those who like a lot of eyeliner. But I'm going to prom and I really don't want to look slutty or anything and I've had a few friends say that if I put eyeliner all the way to the inside of the lower lid it gives a bad girl look. Is this true or is it just people talking?Does to much eyeliner give a slutty kinda vibe?
i think it depends, the girls who pile on the eyeliner thick all the way around their eyes if u know what i mean , with the eye shadow and tons of mascara , like every day then yes i think it can look slutty or bad girlish. Something like the link below would probably look good for prom just don't over do it on the eye liner. If anything go for a good lengthening, curling and thickening mascara. Not to mention at problem you will be dancing and problem get a lil hot or sweaty so you don't want raccoon eyes or your make up running. If your looking for a good waterproof eyeliner try this i love it and it stays put all day and doesn't slide!:http://sephora.com/browse/product.jhtml?鈥?/a>
good for prom:http://media.onsugar.com/files/ons1/281/鈥?/a>
too much:http://mtblog.glamour.com/fashionbeauty_鈥?/a>Does to much eyeliner give a slutty kinda vibe?
i put it on my water line and really.. it depends on how much u put or how u style it and how youe eye shape is. if ur going to wear a neutral eyeshadow look and u put on eyeliner then... no u wont but if your going for a smokey eye its gunna make u look sexy but at the same time u look slutty and not slutty... kinda hard to say haha..i hope u get at where im going lol
haha, it is really just people's opinions. everyone is going to say something different. some will say they like a lot of eyeliner and some will think it's trashy.
for prom i'd keep the makeup subtle, especially if you are wearing a very flashy dress.
as long as you like the way it looks, who cares what other people think :)
Well, if you apply more than you need, then it wouldn't be very appropriate for prom. I think just a line of eyeliner on top would be perfect, but it isn't my face.
sometimes. its better if it's not too heavy. I learned at Sephora if you do a heavy eye liner, use lighter lip stick. Its best to have just one feature ';pop'; or you'll look hoochie, lololol.
you don't want people to notice you wear too much eyeliner. Thats when your wearing too much. Subtle and defining your eyes is the best way, not when people notice your wearing eyeliner.
Too much eye-liner makes you look goth or sick. I've never thought of it as being particularly slutty, but its not appealing.
Of course too much of anything ...
personally i think it looks trashy,
but if you wear it very thin and light all around the eye, that can sometimes look alright.
As a male; yes.
Simply put the best make-up applications don't show. The goal with make-up should be to enhance beauty, not to cover it up.
no it depends if you wear evening make-up on a daily basis then yeah but otherwise no!!
jam yo hype doeee
Most of the time, yes it does.
Tons of eye liner doesn't look good, and it does make you look bad.
If you're a sluut.
I think so. Well... Most of the time.
it depends on how you wear it
i think it depends, the girls who pile on the eyeliner thick all the way around their eyes if u know what i mean , with the eye shadow and tons of mascara , like every day then yes i think it can look slutty or bad girlish.
I think so. Well... Most of the time.
it depends on how you wear it
What is the best kind of mascara and black eyeliner?
Help? What is the best kind of mascara and black eyeliner?
i use covergirlWhat is the best kind of mascara and black eyeliner?
L'Oreal, all day every day.
Max Factor or Rimmel
Anything MAC or Clinique, only because my skin is super sensitive so I use them. Also, they don't test on animals and of course several MAC products proceeds goes to a great cause on HIV/AIDS.
It is so worth the money and you are not hurting animals.
Good Luck!!
eyeliner- lancome, it's amazing but kind of pricey.. aside from that, Almay is very good
mascara- i suggest the XXL or XL by mabeline
TRUST ME! I have used every brand under the sun! For Mascara definately Loreal full definiton Voluminous in the gold tube. The straight brush is better for getting all the lashes. For eyeliner if you want liquid,Loreal lineur intense in black mica, if you prefer pencil nothing beats MAC eye kohl in smolder.
Maybelline Unstoppable mascara and liner... stays put all day unless you forget and rub your eyes lol The mascara wand is nice and doesn't leave clumps. Covergirl is good too but I dont like those new plastic looking wands I tried it because it looked cool but it wasn't worth the money, it made my lashes look thin and short!
L'Oreal Voluminous with the straight brush is the best stuff I've ever used. It doesn't smudge, it doesn't flake, and you have to cry A LOT before it actually starts to run.
The ONLY eyeliner I'll use is Revlon ColorStay eyeliner. This stuff stays exactly where you put it. I can go to sleep with my eyeliner on and I swear when I get up in the morning, it looks exactly the same. It goes on smoothly, you get even coverage, and you don't have to sharpen it.
I will only use Max Factor
I use Milani liquid eye liner in jet black; and maybelline volume in very black.
best i've ever used is rimmel london and you can even get it at wal-mart - i had a hair stylist turn me onto it
There are thousands of mascaras out there. The only one I have used and I absolutely don't like it Mabelline, it flakes all over the place... it is cheap so I guess you get what you pay for. One thing to be certain of is if you wear contacts that you get a mascara that doesn't flake or that is not so fibrous. Black eyeliners well... there are thousands of those out there too and many are good. It's pretty much all the same thing. I have used Lancome to Wet N Wild (drug store brand). You just have to find what you like, what works best for you. Good luck!
The kind that doesn't test on animals and is all natural.
I use mary kay mascara and eyeliner. they work really good.
I looked up everything that I use because I never remember the brand names. I swear by this stuff and will die the day that it is discontinued for whatever reason. For black eyeliner I use Cover Girl Shimmer Onyx. I actually lift up my upper eyelid and apply the shadow (using a Maybelline Eye Contour Brush) directly on my lash line from underneath. This makes your eyelashes appear thicker than if you apply the liner in the conventional, just-above-the-upper-lashline way. This eyeshadow stays on all day and still looks black even at the end of the day. I curl my eyelashes and then use Max Factor Lash Perfection Mascara in either Soft Black or Deep Blue, depending on my mood. I'm blonde with blue eyes and I like to have dramatic eyes so decide what look you're going for and choose your mascara color based on that along with your hair and skin color. With other mascaras, I would always buy waterproof because regular mascara would come off and sit in the creases under my eyes, but Max Factor Lash Perfection doesn't do that. So, now I don't have to buy waterproof (I think the waterproof stuff in other brands was making my eyelashes fall out plus it was REALLY hard to take off). Also with this mascara, the brush is kinda rubbery (I think that's why it defines my lashes so well) so you have to kinda do an inspection of the brush before you buy it. My mom bought this mascara and hated it and when I looked at the brush, it looked like half the bristles were missing because somehow they had gotten smashed down and wouldn't come back up. It was like wiping mascara on with your finger.
You can find all the products mentioned at most drug stores or at Wal-Mart or Target.
I hope this helps you.
mary kay. it's the best %26amp; there are different kinds to choose from
Try L'Oreal Lash Out Lengthening and Separating Mascara, This is really good,I love this

i've heard very good things about benefit's badgal lash mascara but it's quite pricey i think...
Cover Girl and Maybelline. For decorative cosmetic you don't have to buy the expensive stuff. It doesn't last much longer and gets thick just as quick as the really expensive ones.
Splurge rather on the facial creams and cleansers.
I think full and soft mascara by Maybelline is the best one I have found so far, also cover girl eye liner is really good.
Benefit - Bad Gal mascara and Dior - Diorshow are both awesome. They both create long, thick, dramatic lashes.
MAC splashproof. its expensive, but well worth it. Takes forever to wear off!
L'oreal's Double Extend mascara lengthens your eyelashes and makes them look full... it lasts all day and it also comes in waterproof. If you want something pricier, try Lancome's mascara since both Loreal and the latter are made by the same people.
Eyeliner... try Revlon Color Stay liquid... i have used it for 2 years now and can tell you it lasts all day... Same as L'oreal's liquid eyeliner

Whenever i wear eyeliner or eyeshadow after not even a half hour it all starts to come off?
like the eyeshadow gets all messed up and my eyeliner comes off or if its on my eyelid it makes a mark from my eyes being open if u know what i mean.
is there anything i can do or use to stop it from doind this and keep it the way it looked when i first put it on?Whenever i wear eyeliner or eyeshadow after not even a half hour it all starts to come off?
I had the same problem.
Try using Revlon ColorStay 12 Hour Eye Shadow %26amp; Revlon ColorStay Eyeliner.
I love this makeup because I don't get the crease mark anymore and the eyeliner doesn't smudge off!Whenever i wear eyeliner or eyeshadow after not even a half hour it all starts to come off?
You can either prep your eyelids with a primer or a paint pot from mac that is closest to your skin color. Are you talking about eyeliners on your waterline? This will come off very quick and bleed all over the place if you don't get a waterproof one. Fluidline from mac, the color blacktrack is freakin awesome... I use it as a eyeliner on my lids and waterline and it last up to six hours... Most of the things that I am telling you is from Mac... you should go over there and consult a mac girl... they know everything..
That is most likely because you are using a cheap eyeliner and eyeshadow. Also, make sure that you moisturize before putting on your makeup, it will help your makeup stay on longer. Use a primer on your eyes and it will help your eyeshadow stick to your eyes.
Stop using cheap eyeliner. MAC really makes the best eyeliner and shadow and i've never had a problem with it melting.
Also, invest in a good eye shadow primer, that will help too.
you are probably not using a primer first. Put whatever cream makeup you use on your skin onto your eyes before or bye an eye primer. That should definetly help!
you can get a eyelid 'primer potion' type thing. that way, it'll make it stay betterdebt consolidation

Wats the best eyeliner that stays on all day and mabey even water proof?
i want eyeliner that can stay on for a long time and mabey even water proof any sugestions?Wats the best eyeliner that stays on all day and mabey even water proof?
I'm not sure about the eyeliner itself, but Benefit makes a product called ';She-laq'; which is a clear, waterproofing liquid that you can apply over liner, shadow, mascara, lipstick, etc.
I like it because I can use whatever brand and color of makeup I want and just seal it with the one product.Wats the best eyeliner that stays on all day and mabey even water proof?
MAC's fluidline. It's a gel liner and it stays and stays and stays.
I use this stuff that I got at walgreens 2 for $3 or something.
It's black and has a gold cap. And it's the kind you twist and more comes out. It's called Jordana EASYLINER for eyes [well no duh!] haha. But it works great!
i would say rimmel
it last a long time and for people like me that cant you most kinds of eye liner
Avon gliimer sticks! trust me i tried to wash it off once, it wldnt come off, i had to get eye make up remover to get it off.
barry m eyeliner is great. not sure about waterproof, but my eye make-up remover never quite manages to remove the pink n red ones fully, i always have to use it again in the morning.
For me it has to be the Go Gel Eye Liner i think it is great and really does stay on for a long time. It,s only 拢3.99 as well so you can't go wrong with the price.
Elle 18 cool effect eyeliner....still have it on my eyes ryt now ....wore it once at a party ...came home but 4got to remove it...slept at nite....woke up in morning.....eyeliner was intact on eyes.....GOOD LUCK wearing it!! almost waterproof ...I can tell You coz ... when I washed my eyes in morning....didnt come off...only comes out by rubbing eyes with cotton and vaseline...or cotton and rosewater...rosewater is best coz it wont harm eyes...vaseline irritates eyes...Hope you will like my suggestion...
Smashbox Jet Set.
Supre (The clothes store) Has a really good eyeliner for thick lines.
For a thinner line try FoxyLove or Maybelline
Waterproof:-
Lancome Le Stylo Waterproof Eyeliner with Smudger Black
For a cool shade try
TonightBlue by Sparklez
It's a cooling eyeliner which is.. you guessed it.. Blue
Otherwise try
VIRGIN VIE ROCK STAR STAR STUDED LASH MASCARA/EYELINER
It's a 2 in 1~ Good value!
Hope I've helped you out!
Bad Gal from benifit - Brown Thomas very good and not too expensive !!
ysl
I'm not sure about the waterproof part but, find an Avon representative and get color trend. it works great.
