How to apply pale eyeliner/eyeshadow colours like brown without looking like I've been punched in the eyes?

Yeah so I'm very pale- what are some techniques i could use for natural-ish looking eye makeup? How to apply pale eyeliner/eyeshadow colours like brown without looking like I've been punched in the eyes?
when your applying eyeliner, stay as close to the lash line as possible. when you put on bottom eyeliner, it shouldnt look like a line, but it should look like your kind of filling in the blank spaces between your lashes. for the upper eyeliner, if you wear it, it should be the thinnest line that you can possiblly do. it you have too much, then it looks like your trying too hard! less is ALWAYS more when it comes to makeup, especially eyeliner.

when your applying eyeshadow, use your brush and cover your eyelid. it seems like you cant see it, but it is actually really evident. thats only if your going to school, or out for the day. if your looking for a more night look, then make the eyeshadow come up a little more beyond your eyelid, but not so much that you look like a clown.

ALSO because your pale, DONT use black eyeliner or eyeshadow, or any darker shades of brown. use a lighter brown shade of eyeliner and a goldish shade of eyeshadow and you'll look beautiful! How to apply pale eyeliner/eyeshadow colours like brown without looking like I've been punched in the eyes?
Choose a color that is closest to that of your skin. You should not put the eyeshadow just below your eyes, because this may make you look like having eyebags or got punched in the eyes. Believe me, I did that once, and all my classmates were asking me if got punched in the eye. One of my schoolmates even asked me what time I slept, for I look like having eyebags. Try putting them in the corners between your eyes and your nose. This may even trick the eye into thinking you had a nose-job, in a good way that is.
I would suggest starting with a champagne(?) color and using that on the whole lid. Next use a tanish color that's just a few shades darker then the first and use this in the crease of your eye. Then find a color that is a few shades darker than that and put this in the outter corner of your eye lid. Blend the colors so there are no visible lines. Then I would use brown eyeliner and mascara to finish it off. Hope this helps! Good Luck!
using a tan eyeliner, maybe even white.. adding high lighters to your eye make up too! natural glowing high lighters are the best.. i suggest Sheer Cover's eye make up and even facial make up.. it's the best! use alittle gold on the lid, white near inside and outer corners of eyes to creat a beautiful glow, it also helps bring out your eyes!
It's kind've hard to explain how to apply it. There are tons of videos on youtube with demonstrations.

That might be what you're looking for. She's great at explaining the different looks and you can check out her other videos.

Just as note, it helps a lot to have the right makeup brushes because if you don't have the right ones then you end up applying too much eye shadow or you're not able to blend it properly. That's when you look like you've been punched in the eyes.
if you have brown eyes it's good to start off with a dark brown shadow, then apply a bronze color to the lid and a light gold dusted up to the eyebrow :))
