Can black people wear white eyeliner then apply black eyeliner over it?

I have small eyes and i heard that white eyeliner helps. The only thing is, I'm black and I'm not sure if white eyeliner can be used on black people. Of course I would look kinda goofy with just white eyeliner so I was wondering if I could apply black eyeliner over it. Instead of eyeliner, you could use a really shimmery, light-colored eyeshadow to brighten and widen your eyes. Or, you could use another light-colored eyeliner (like a light gold, silver, and other pale colors) instead and you wouldn't have to go over it with black eyeliner.Can black people wear white eyeliner then apply black eyeliner over it?
If you applyed black eyeliner over white eyeliner....then wouldn't the white eyeliner just dissapear??
Why not it might smudge a little but you could try it

yes, but the black must cover all of the white that is applied first. If you want a mixed color try:


-mix the colors first


-use a grey eyeliner


-use a powdered eyeliner





you could try to wear new colors like silver, grey, and charcoals.

I wear white eyeliner some times it looks good on me i'm black but i wear like a dark eyeshadow.when i wear white eyeliner..but yeah you can do that
I'm black, also with smallish eyes, and I've heard the same things.





What i do is use a little white liner very thin on the inner bottom lids. Be very careful, but if you get it right, it does open up your eyes some. I use black to line the top, and use lots of mascara to open the eyes up too (one I really like is DiorShow).

but black eyeliner on the inside. then on the outside put a shimmer which will open your eyes and bring them out. also , wear mascara that gives you instant fake lashes. i use benefits ';big lash'; and i lovee it.

But applying black eyeliner on top of it, would deafeat the purpose of the white eyeliner, and probably make it look grey.





White eyeliner can make your eyes look bigger by lining the inside rim of your eye, with it. Since the eyeball is white, adding the line of white eyeliner makes your eyes appear larger.





I recommend putting the white eyeliner on the inside bottom rim, and then black eyeliner below that (under your bottom lashline).

Wouldnt it become like grey-ish? mayby if you use liquid and be sure to let it dry first before you apply the black...
honey am black too and i NEVER use white eyeliner.never looks good.makes u look like one of them tribes people dancing round a fire! anyway just use silver eyeshadow on top of ur eyelids blended with a little pink.make sure ur eye brows are perfectly plucked.then use dark eye liner or kajal around ur eyes.should give them a perfect look and make u THE bomb diggity!
dont apply black over it, just use white. use eye shadow if you want but if you just put on white, it wont look white on dark skin. just try it at home if your syill in doubt. :)
a good thought, but i think if you put black over the white, it would just defeat the purpose of the white!!


to make your eyes look bigger, you can curl your eyelashes and apply lengthing mascara. it will REALLY open up your eyes.

if you were putting black eyeliner over it, the white wouldn't do any good...
i think that would defeat the purpose of the white because you'd be covering it up. best wishes
first put white eyliner on then put a peach color on then u can put glitter on
Yes that would look a little strange. You should go to the department store and have the guy or gal make your eyes look bigger with make-up. DO NOT let them force you into buying anything unless you absolutely must have it. Now, if you like the look, then what the heck, make a purchase. Good luck.
