i dont even wear eye liner, but if you use great lash mascara, it works for both an eye liner and mascara that look great! when aplying mascara to your bottom lashes rub slightly at the roots of the lashes[close to the innerd of your eye but not touching the white part of your eye] and then it looks like your wearing eye liner, and it doesnt come off.
I think u should do eyeliner but like you said don't do it thick. a thin precise line maybe that extends a tad beyond where your eye ends will make a real pretty cat eye but it wont be too done(to decide what shade eyeliner it depends on your eye color). don't do lipstick ever. trust me i made that mistake and i dint hear the end of it even when i stopped wearing it. but a tinted lip balm or sheer gloss would is pretty. not overdone at all. unless you have bad acne a lil concealers all u'll need cover up wise. a lil under the eyes if u have dark circles, over acne marks or blemishes. make sure to blend blend blend. or if u dont want concealer, u jus want something to even your skin out a lil, then try a tinted moisturizer. it'll look natural but pretty and im sure ur parents will be fine with it. good luck!!!
new natural make up... the trend in make up now is to wear natural looking make up. Maybe a VERY light brown eye liner on the bottom of your eye with some mascara and a light pink eye sadow, a bit of a light pink blush on ur cheeks and a light gloss. play around with it till u get a look u like, and keep changin it up when u get board.
