Mac liquid eyeliners generally lasts longer and it dries fast so doesnt smudge as well.
Arbonne makes an eyeshadow in black that many are using as a liner. It's called Quarterback and is in their FYI line. Because it's a shadow, it doesn't run. All Arbonne's products are botanically based and safe. They are also hypoallergenic and dermatologist tested.
