How do I apply eyeliner to my top lid?

How do I apply eyeliner to my top lid? The bottom is SO easy but instructions oh applying to the top![_鈾]

thnkxss, kay bye!How do I apply eyeliner to my top lid?
I have been wearing eyeliner for 16 years (lol that's probably how old you are), and I have always found that for whatever reason pencil eyeliner is so difficult to apply to a top lid. So it wouldn't surprise me if you are trying to use a pencil. Try a liquid or cream eyeliner instead. For liquid rest your hand on your face (this will steady your hand) position the brush on the lashline and draw a thin line starting in the middle out to the outer edge. I usually go back and fill in a bit closer to the inner corner after I finish the eye because you want the thinnest line there and the brush will have less product on it at that point.

With cream eyeliner you can be a bit more messy it's the same general idea but you can make it nice a smudgy no reason to be as neat. For brand I recommend L'oreal for both, they make an amazing cream eyeliner, it's better than all the cosmetics counter brands. And they also make a nice liquid with a sponge tip applicator, which is easier to use.

For both applications I do not stretch or touch my eyelids at all, I keep both eyes open and just tilt my head up slightly which forces you to look down at the mirror exposing more of your lashline. How do I apply eyeliner to my top lid?
Try making tiny dots to start off with, and then connect them. Takes practice and a steady hand, but you'll get it. I like to use a black cake eyeshadow and a tiny paintbrush, add a little water, and make my own liquid eyeliner. Works just as well, if not better, and I feel it's more precise than the brushes that come with liquid eyeliner.
Close your eye, then pull on the outer-corner of your eye so your eye becomes ';tight';.

Then just slowly and a little bit at a time, apply it as close to your lashes as you can.

Make sure you put some mascara on too, it'll make your eyes pop!

Hope i helped :D
do little lines at a time instead of trying to do the whole lid at once.
make a line from the middle of the lid out.

blend it with a blending stick
